One of the loveliest small towns in the Cotswolds. The main street curves gently and is lined with a succession of ancient houses, built with traditional golden Cotswold stone. All the buildings are joined but each retains its own distinctive embellishments.
Chipping Campden was one of the most important of the medieval wool towns and was famous throughout Europe and gave it much of its wealth. This legacy of fame and prosperity gave the town its unique character and charm.
