DorsetBridport

Bridport lies just over a mile inland from West Bay at the confluence of the Rivers Brit, Asker and Simene. It nestles among the hills of West Dorset and is one of the towns giving access to the Jurassic Coast, a recently designated World Heritage Site.

From Romans to rope making! Come and discover Bridport's unique history from Saxon times to the present day including the world famous rope and net making industries.

West Bay is one mile south of Bridport, it is a busy harbour village with characteristic kiosks, fishing boats, pubs and restaurants. Together Bridport and West Bay make an ideal centre for strollers, hikers, shoppers, swimmers, fishermen and all who come to enjoy the varied and beautiful coastline.
