 Gorwell is a family-run farm, ideally positioned in its own secret wooded valley. It is just two miles from Chesil Beach in West Dorset on England's south coast. There is a range of affordable self-catering accommodation for groups of all sizes. Three recently converted barn cottages, two farm cottages, and the first-floor wing of the 17th century farmhouse.
Each cottage is furnished to a high standard and comes with central heating, an open fireplace, television, and video and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, each has its own BBQ and fenced garden.
There is a cottage called Spindle Cottage that has facilities for the disabled. The ground floor of this barn conversion has two bedrooms, a shower room, and a bathroom. It has a bedroom ensuite upstairs, and provides accommodation for six, with a cot available should you need it. A well-equipped lounge and kitchen area all make for an enjoyable and comfortable holiday. Patio doors lead onto the garden with plenty of space all on one level, making it suitable for wheelchair use.
The accommodation has an accessibility rating Mobility 2 (M2): Typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time.

Barn and Stable Cottages are a barn conversion in the local ham stone, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are breathtaking views in all directions, with excellent walks on offer.
The Heritage Coast is only six miles away, but the cottages are peacefully situated off the B3162 Broadwindsor to Bridport road. The village of Stoke Abbott is only one mile away.
The spacious cottages are capable of sleeping four to six adults and designed to be accessible to wheelchair users. The double bedded room (in Barn only) has stacked bunk beds, which can be used singly if desired, making a family room. There is wheelchair access in the bathrooms, and the shower rooms, and use of a bath lift if required. Open plan sitting room / kitchen / dining room with a feature window seat.

 Stable Cottage is situated in the stable yard close to the main house, an old thatched manor, set in a four acre plants man’s garden surrounded by 40 acres of farmland, one mile from the centre of Beaminster.
The ground floor conversion in barn has spacious living room with high ceiling and exposed beams. Fully fitted modern kitchen. Twin bedded bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The accommodation is especially modified for wheelchair users. Sleeps two-three people.
The property has a rating Mobility 1 (M1): Typically suitable for a person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance. Babies' cots can be hired locally. The cottage includes use of owner's garden and tennis court by arrangement.

 Tamarisk Farm is a long established mixed organic farm situated on the beautiful coast of West Dorset behind the Chesil Beach. The family were amongst the early members of the Soil Association and have grown wholesome food to organic standards since 1960.
Mimosa Cottage is a large comfortable cottage adapted for the disabled guest. Everything is suitable for wheelchair users, including a height adjustable four ring hob and sink. Of the two bathrooms, one is en-suite to both bedrooms and has a level entry shower with a strong folding seat, and the other's bath has a sitting board and a low washing seat. An elevating bath seat is available. One toilet has wheelchair access from the left and the other from the right. The conservatory has a Jaybee sofa- bed, which opens easily to become a double bed.
There are four futons, which, all piled together make a footrest or can be used as children's mattresses on the floor. All the furniture can be moved easily. All decorating was with allergen-free, non-solvent paint, there is a chlorine water filter and the oil boiler is outside; therefore, asthmatics, chemically sensitive people and ME may be OK here.
The accommodation has an accessibility rating Mobility 3 (M3): Typically suitable for a person who depends on the use of a wheelchair and transfers unaided to and from a wheelchair in a seated position.
