Advanced Search - hints and tips

Here are a few examples of the type of search results you may get if you search using the following:

Searching by 'category' without specifying a 'location' will provide you with a list of locations and tell you the number of listings for your chosen category within each location. E.g:

You searched for 'Hotels', Results found - (253)

Gloucester (52) Cornwall (87) Wiltshire (124)

If you search by 'category' and specify a 'location' you will get a list of businesses/beaches/attractions etc. relevent to your search criteria. E.g:

You searched for 'Cottages' in 'Gloucester', Results found - (24)

The Anchor - 10a High Street, etc. (this would be the complete information)
Hilly Cottage - 71 Sycamore Street, etc.

This search facility allows you to search the entire website using the words which you feel are most relevant to the service/business/local attraction etc. that you are looking for.

You can search by entering the name of a business, postcode, any keyword; for instance 'theme park', 'seaside' or 'quiet location'.

If you were to search with the word/s 'swimming pool', your search results would say:

"You searched for 'swimming pool' We have found (50) instances of 'swimming pool' in the South West.

Gloucester (20) Wiltshire (20) Truro (10)
